I love how the first thing Shadow says is "DAMN" and immediately that's how Silver knows it's Shadow.Β
I mean, it's too obvious of a joke that it's not even funny, it's just like "yep, that's how the character works."

EDIT: Hold on a sec! There's another way Silver could have known it wasn't Sonic anymore. Sonic can't swim!! Then again, Silver knows he hates water, but does he actually know for a fact that Sonic can't swim? An interesting question.

Let's just say Shadow didn't have enough hands to hold the white emerald and it appeared just before Sonic came back. I wonder how Silver knew immidiately that it was Shadow? Was it because he said "damn"?

The voices as well. Whenever Shadow is possessed, his speech bubbles are blue like Sonic's. Because his speech bubble was white in the first panel, it implies that he is back to his original voice.
