Evan Stanley: To be fair the rightful rulers of Moebius are also douchebags. Or do you mean how he killed his dad?
Okida: Well he had to rise above the rabble by placing his father on the rack, thus elevating his rank. What a rascal he was. But perhaps he might see his actions were rash and that he reached too far. He failed to recognize the reality of the situation and be reasonable and now rebellion must have some reconciliation. Then perhaps he might have redemption.

Yeeaaaaaahhhhh.... Totally not feeling sorry for him in that last panel. I've got to add that all the context clues as to what/who this is supposed to be are probably quite obvious in retrospect, but I'm stumped.
