Okida : Well the reason you don't remember Sonic is because you caught the Nicole goo virus, and we had to do a system restore to put you back to before the malware was introduced.

I have a theory on the: "Why are there two existing Sonic presences?"
It's the Chaos Emeralds
Each Emerald holds a pieces of Sonic's soul.
Which in turn allows him to have split like he did.
Meaning,
Probably if I'm right,
Sonic you have six more lives left.
Seven if the Master Emerald is included into that set!

We REALLY need that explanation as to why there are two Sonics running around. I'm willing to bet that when Nicole did her whatchamadwizz that Sonic somehow got split in the process, and since Sonic is bonded to the Chaos Emeralds that the one half went to them while the other was stuck in Metal. If not, then I have absolutely no idea. I'm probably way off my guess.

I myself think that something along to what you just said might have been the exact thing that might have happen, i mean there's 7 chaos emeralds and Sonic is a spirit, so maybe he is able to somehow subconsciously split himself? i'm not sure wither, but that seems ti be the only logical explanation at the moment

I am still confused about everything that happened in chapter 9.
I thought Nicole absorbed Sonic or something and then took over Shadow. I saw Shadow got the mind control thing off but was there no lasting effects for Sonic? Where did she even go after that?

You got it right-- in issue 9, Sonic got stuffed into Metal Sonic and he's still in there. But there's also another Sonic that appeared who doesn't remember what happened in issue 9. The question that lingers now is how Sonic's in two places at once without knowing it.

Ok, now that I'm all caught up in comic I can finally make a comment.
I know you did some background work for the Archie Sonic Comics and I shows through the artwork. Its very similar, if not exactly, to how the comics look, but there is a clear distinction that this is your own work. The coloring is the main difference which is beautiful. If it was the exact same art style as the official comics then it wouldn't have worked as well with the way the story flows.
I can't wait to read the rest, but I am actually pretty confused at the moment... While it be explained soon because I feel as though I somehow missed a big detail.

Ok, that makes sense. I actually had a theory somewhat like that for how Blaze was both in '06 and Rush where she was transported to the Sol universe and was adopted by the King and Queen, but then I couldn't think of a reason why she wouldn't know Sonic in Rush because they're both in a cutscene together.
Would that technically mean that Sol Blaze is still alive in her universe?

Thanks! Yeah GOTF has really grown up alongside my Archie work; it's become stylistically similar to the official stuff in both art and story, although I have more freedom show my own style here.
What are you missing? It may indeed be something where the explanation is coming up, but the earlier issues of the comic are very, very spotty when it comes to coherent exposition (comes with starting it at 14 with only half a plan). It may be something that wasn't covered properly, in which case I can explain.

I'm just sorta confused about Blaze. Is she a reincarnation or something because Sonic has met Blaze before.

Sonic has met the Blaze of the Sol Dimension, a parallel universe. GOTF Blaze is the Blaze native to his own universe. I'm working with the theory that there's a time difference between these two universes where Sol is about 200 years ahead of Sonic's world. That's why GOTF Blaze is Silver's contemporary.
(This same theory also works for explaining why official Blaze doesn't know Sonic in Sonic 06 and lives in the future, BTW)
GOTF Blaze doesn't act too much like her official counterpart due to having a loving and supportive dad to raise and teach her instead of being dropped off to guard some magic rocks all by herself. Once upon a time, I was planning to have the gang go on a mission to the Sol Dimension, thus why there's some teasers of the "real" Blaze in the Secret Rings arc. Buuut I dropped that so it's a loose plot thread! Yay!

Oh my GOSH angst! Way back when first reading issue 9 I didn't even think about how traumatising that must have been for Shadow! He was forced to watch his best friend be ripped apart and think he was dead! AHHHHH Shadow you poor baby!!!!!

Does that mean the reason Shadow is so surly right now is because he's feeling guilty or still inwardly freaking out? Looks like the next revelation could be that some part of Sonic is powering Metal.
There is just something about Sonic's headspikes in the last panel that is bothering me. Maybe the way they're too uniform.
Unrelated side-comment here that you have zero obligation to respond to.... Out of curiosity, was The Silver Age script entirely written by you? Including having Silver's infamous line?
