Ghosts of the Future, Issue 15 page 22.This scene went through a few rewrites, usually changing the method of escape-- I think Shadow got them out once, then Metal's chest-laser was turned into an impromptu blaster, and here we are now. I like this version because it's the least dignified for Shadow. Air-lift out of Sadsville.
Okida : What about Sonic! You know you have so much to life for being the straight man to his lunacy! It is your destiny! Now fly with me, Darth Maul!

On a more serious note.... I kinda hope they can find a way to bring everyone back(that's like too good to be true kind of stuff especially for this comic, but I still hope. At the very least some way for Shadow to say a more formal farewell to Rouge and Omega and maybe the rest of them.

I feel like we are now going to either get some Silver, Scourge, and Blaze action or see Shadow finally do something for once. The former seems more likely and better suited to the situation.

Gyack. My brain WANTS to read what Metal's saying in that amazing voice he had in Sonic Heroes, but the way he's talking sounds like Sonic too much for that voice to fit. I keep hearing Sonic's instead. Pooey.
I pretty much can't hear Metal's voice any other way than in that lovely deep resonant tone he had. .w. It just fits so god. Damn. Perfect. Not to mention it's just godly, period.

Metal is all of Sonic's baggage, plus Metal Sonic's baggage, so he can see things from both sides and he's all mixed up and doesn't know who or what he is yet. Not quite Sonic, Definitely not Metal Sonic anymore.
We'll have to wait and see what those shards create, when they finally come together.
