I will just say your art progression is amazing as well as inspiring. I was so attracted to the story I didnβt realize it sooner. But now you have officially dragged me back into the sonic club after seeing how much of a great job you are doing portraying characters as well as drawing the mood for backgrounds. Congrats on bringing back a former fan whoβs been gone for a good while. And I wish you a good day. π

I dunno. I'm sure you were going more for sword than baseball bat imagery there, but I'm more concerned for Fleetway's legs. He was probably clocking a tame 50 mph when he skidded on his knees, and I doubt they're made of titanium alloy. So....Β ouch. How he can run with damaged kneecaps is anybody's guess.
It seems Shadow knows what's hidden here, so that means he's been digging around. I suppose that makes sense. Nobody wants to be taken by surprise in a place like this, but if he doesn't explain in short, simple words why it's a bad idea to go in that particular nasty-looking cave, he's just begging for things to turn out even worse. Never, ever tell a Sonic not to do something without an explanation. But then, maybe reverse psychology would work best.

Haha! It's been a long time since I read that particular series (at least four years) and I was never that big into the fandom for it either, so forgive me if the terminology gets a bit mixed up.

Sonic's pose in the 4th panel reminds me heavily of "I'VE GOT YOUR LIMIT, RIGHT HERE!!!" you know that infamous panel from Archie Sonic... I love it. GREAT expression work here!!!!

Shadow could have used the Slowing Time properties of Chaos Control to knock Sonic out instead of a Chaos Spear... Seems like he's a bit rusty in how to strategize when fighting

NOTHING about this is going to turn out good. Poor dumb cocky young Sonic, so used to being the good guy that he can't stop and make sure the other peeps are the BAD guys or not. But to be fair, all the defunct robotnik bots are a bad confuser of the situation. And Shadow is NOT HELPING.
