Description Ghosts of the Future, issue 8: Priorities.

Woo! Let's get this wagon train a-rollin'. Welcome to issue 8 of GOTF, I hope it turns out well. Unfortunately, this cover dosen't quite live up to my expectations. Though I like some elements (Silver's quills are faaabulous!), the whole image just dosen't mesh well. Mostly because I was an idiot and painted Sonic in such a way that I can't add my usual transparency effects that I do on him or scoot him around. That'll teach me for trying to innovate. On another note, any Spider-man fans might recognize the design of this cover from the iconic issue #50 of "Amazing Spider-Man"-- "Spider-Man No More". It's a fantastic cover, not to mention the story it introduces. Many plot elements of this upcoming GOTF arc are inspired by that comic. And by "inspired", I mean "blatantly ripped off". Hooray!

Haha, I have almost never read a DC/Marvel/Image comic in my entire life and somehow at first glance I remembered that Spiderman issue cover. That's how iconic it was. XD

I think Silver's the real focal point in this cover: it conveys a lot of emotion, and it looks really good!!

I watched this review on a Sonic comic called "So long Sally" and the reveiwer said that it reminded him of spiderman as it's the same layout of "spiderman no more" lol- it's a classic man! I think you've pulled off the look of it excellently!
