Issue 9, page 4Boy, has this been a long time coming. Finally, let me introduce GOTF Nicole. Clearly, she's a wee bit different from her Archie Comics counterpart. I've been planning to have her in the comic for years, almost from the very beginning. Hopefully she'll make a good antagonist.

Now that I think about it, Nicole inside of Metal Sonic doesn't seem to be a surprise since she was vaguely seen in the beginning of the last issue. & Nicole is sure to be one heck of a villain. Oh boy I am starting to really hate Nicole now.

Metal Sonic's A.I was fried and replaced by Nicole(Nicole took over Metal Sonic's body).Nicole has been revealed to be Metal Sonic on Issue 8 page 2, so it shouldn't of been too much of a surprise. I'm not sure what Nicole is using for her body in GOTF continuity,maybe Nanites(like in Archie)but to me it doesn't look very digital,it could possibly be the Material Chaos(From Sonic Adventure) is made of,but to be certain we'll have to wait and see.

Okay. I can appreciate you enjoying using the image, and showing the big what-ifs, but if their personality is completely and utterly different from the canon self without the canon self to add contrast, then the character loses it's point of being a tribute. I get the idea of evil Nicole, but it just feels wrong in this context. Sorry. Your art is as brilliant and beautiful as ever as is your designs.

I agree. The main reason I used Nicole here is I felt it would just be silly to create another super-advanced, nanite-controlling AI when there was already a perfectly good one in the canon (yes, A.D.A.M. or E.V.E. would have made more sense but I don't really like them). Before I knew about Nicole when I was first planning GOTF I invented an OC called Nicolai the Lynx. He was basically a male Nicole. Sooo when I discovered Nicole, I just switched them out. I have extensive plans for her character and backstory that will (hopefully) set her apart. I hope she'll stand on her own merits, and you'll be able to think of her as a separate character distanced from her Archie-self.

In the Archie comics, no, she was built by Rotor in the future but sent to the past. This is Evan's continuity, and Evan's comics. What she says, goes.

2. Was she controlling and speaking through Metal or was she using his body until she could transfer herself into something better, like she did just now?
3. How did Silver's sister find her and plan to transfer her into Metal's body?
