Ghosts of the Future, Issue 16 Page 15.Happy Dia de los Muertos! Time to finish of the issue!
I got the rough layout for the house cut-away from a similar page of The Spirit (when in doubt, Eisner layout), but I did the outside and set dressing myself as well as fixing perspective and the color design. fun stuff.
Okida : Do I need to spot Waldo? Because I feel like I need to spot Waldo. Also can I live in this house? Please?

My daughter just about had a choking-giggle-fit when we read this issue together today. This is her absolute favorite page and I had to zoom in close so she could see everything.
I wasn't entirely sure whose room was on the top right, though. Would they really make poor Vennie go all the way up there in a wheelchair? Or does Sicily really have a girly, plushy-loving side? And at the bottom Blaze looks really annoyed without a clear reason. If she was holding a basket of yarn I'd expect her to be more interested in them. Cats, y'know.

There's only one thing I don't understand here: Why is Silver stuck on the railing/banister?
I mean, I know he's irritated by the girls talking about the stuff I his room. But why does he look like he got trapped/stuck to the railing?

Mostly I wanted to draw him stuck in a banister, but my little story for that was that he jumped up the last bit of the stairs and was trying to climb OVER the railing as a shortcut. I don't think it worked this time.
