Description
A (very) belated birthday gift for whose birthday was last week, on the 13th. I know I'm a week and a half late, but it's the thought that counts right? I drew Echo with faded wings, because when I was drawing this, she hadn't Awakened yet. Her alternate outfit was just a thing of the moment. It wasn't really inspired by anything, I just.. put it all together.I decided to try some simpler shading and colors in this one. I'm just experimental that way.

I LOVE her hair. But..i dunno. Her eyes seem off kilter. Is that just me? And though i like the stark contrast of the piece it just seems to me like her skin (i like the dress as is) needs some undertoning (if you don't want to add shadows and stuff) or at least some more highlights to give it life.
But it's still really pretty.

Just fantastic Devlin. I love the soulful look in Echos eyes. You have managed to capture both her cuteness but intense serious side that we all know she hides under her bubbling personality. I really like the costume, its quite sexy and sleek, modern, chick. Especially with the furry glove. Nice work on the wings and shading. It is very soft and minimalistic. The light colours work very well. Great present! ^^
