[Time] Three weeks, give or take.
The character positions, and Squall's hair were referenced from various Tetsuya Nomura works. The rest was done by me.

Actually, there's a reason for there not being a scar. I modeled Squall after the Squall I know in life.

I love the clever contrast between you and the boy that you put into all of this... Black and white, long sleave and short sleave, man and woman, collar and collarless... Dark brown hair and light brown hair xD? That's very impressive symbolism of how opposites attract. :3
And then I get the feeling of the yin-yang in it. The two of you overlap eachother in a never-ending circle, one dressed in dark clothing with a risque little collar showing skin(bad Exdevlin! Bad! xD ) on the right side and the white shirted one on the left side. Then their are the symbols. Squall's symbol is on your side(the griever necklace from FFVIII!), and yours is on his side(where's that symbol from anyway?), just as there's a little bit of yin in yang, and a little bit of yang in yin. Hmm... is this some sort of subliminal way of telling us all that you are evil? ;D
And of course, the final bit of symbolism, love. Even though you two are direct opposites in the picture you're still eachothers sweethearts! It's so cute!
And oh... well, I just can't resist the call of your sig anymore... xD What's with the hair?

i actually didn't thought that the guy was based on squall upon first glance .. but then i read your descriptions
but isn't his hair sort of dark brown and doesn't he have a scar ? no offense meant but he looks kinda too happy for squall ..

Well, he wasn't based entirely off Squall in FF8. It's a Squall I know in life, so there are similarities, but he's a different person now. ^_^.

Actually, I modeled him after my Squall, who is an actual person. He doesn't have the scar on his forehead (besides, Squall from the game originally didn't either). It's the same with his hair.
