I'd serve with that weapon, the long barrel is always a good asset.

Looks like a fusion of the G36 and quite a few bullpop designs, like the FAMAS and F2000. Pretty cool!

Could it be you talk about the lever under the sights?

Not the charging handle. The device that releases the bolt and allows it to slide forward after it locks back because of an empty magazine.

The G36 (obviously)
Steyr AUGΒ
Kel Tec RDF
And put them to getherΒ

kinda reminds me of the assault rifle described in the Starstrike book series, except this doesn't have the P90 style magazine

awesome idea for changing a classic assault rifle into a bullpup design; I love it. I am designing my own bullpup design, and the front part of my upper reciever will look like this. The front part of your upper reciever also looks kind of like the Busmaster ACR upper reciever; great job.

Sure, but give credits about the source. Try to build it and tell me when its done.

now that is a very well done model and a nice render too
not sure about those triangles where the scope ends and extends down the top-receiver to the buttstock though

nice redesign of the g36, although this has a step back, compared to the original weapon, left handed users would get a nice branding whith each shot fired

I'm concerned with the limited distance that the charging handle has to travel. You'd need a lot more distance of travel to charge and load a round. Or pull the bolt back far enough to catch, insert a new magazine, and strip a fresh round off.

Maybe I`ve made a mistake, then I have to extend the slot, but I think more then about 3cm are not needed. As I create the frame, I build in a model of the breechblock and check out if there is enough space for the movement.

The side swivel design of that 40mm is wonderful. The grenade launcher attachment that goes with the SCAR system has that same feature on it, and I loved it. I was fortunate enough to be a part of the Marine Corps test group responsible for testing out the SCAR before it was officially fielded, and that was one of the features I thought was just unbeatable. Also, it had a locking breech, which made it more accurate and capable of firing heftier ammunition that the old-school 203's. Does this thing have a similar locking breech?

My idea was to integrate the mechanism in the trigger. The last position after firering, opens the tube. I hope that was your question.

I think I understand what you're talking about, but that reminds me of another question, but it's not something that would really be apparent in your model here. On the 203, if you pull the trigger and the round doesn't go off, you can't fire it again. You have to open the tube to cock the mechanism again, which of course is dangerous with a live round. So, they fixed that on the SCAR so that the trigger is self-cocking, and you can pull it multiple times if the round doesn't go off the first time. Would you intend to build that in here?

The tube musn`t be open complete, so the granade cant slip out. You cock the mechanism with the last trigger position. That should be solve the problem.

Just something I was wondering about. That second strike capability is pretty handy is all. I wish I spoke better German so that I could be more clear with what I'm trying to say. As it is, I can mostly only ask you wo der Bahnhof ist. Which of course doesn't apply to this conversation.
I love your models, man. All of these weapons look beautiful.
