is it ment to look like a fancy version of a merkava 4?
same placement of exaust vent
same boxes on the back of the hull
same escape hatch on the back of the hull
and a very identical looking turret
same almost flat upper plating
very identical armor around the cannon
smoke launchers are also attatched in a very identical way

the slope on the front is very nice, same with the turret, what caliber gun is it? and how think is the armor? and what is it made of? what is its engine (turbine/piston/nuke/ect)?... I'm imagined a 125mm smoothbore cannon. That's a little bit over the common 120mm. As secondary weapon, I've installed a coaxial 30mm cannon. I didnt't thought about how thick the armorΒ have to be. A normal 12-cylinder turbo diesel engine with 1400kW Output should be enough, to bring the power on the ground.

If you have the skills, you can create a tank in ZBrush. I use 3Dsmax. Thats much easyer for hard surfaces.

Yeah, I doesnt`t remember the exact render settings, but I think that must be mental ray. Otherwise, my computer would render till this day.

It's gonna take a few to kill an M1 A2 Abrams but hey, pretty cool

You are aware that multiple Abrams' have been taken out in its service, I believe that we lost like 10-20 in the Gulf war (although most were to accidental friendly fire, only one to an actual T-72) and many have been taken out in the wars in Iraq and Afganistan, mostly to IED's and various types of RPG's.

Gulf war was M1 Abrams. Which were on par with the T-72's the early afghan war they were M1 A1's which were above the shit they had, but still had weak spots. Our newest version, M1 A2, has Depleted-Uranium plates, weak spots strengthened, and Depleted-Uranium AP Sabot rounds. The U.S.A. Has not lost ONE M1 A2 to enemy fire. And An A2 cannot harm an A2, (I don't know how THAT works) so the likely hood that a RPG (a grenade with a propulsion system), or a post-Cold War era T-whatever could do shit is: UNLIKELY. Very few A2's have gone overseas mind you, but have been exposed to all that shit.

When I say IED's and Various types of RPG's, I mean IED's utilizing multiple 155mm artillery shells exploding under the tank (not just one or two, but 5-10 shells) and the newer more advanced types of RPG's capable of almost a meter of RHAe penetration. Very few have been taken out. All in all, I would say that both an Abrams and this thing would have a hell of a time dealing with each other, considering that tanks today seem to have an extremely hard time knocking each other out.
Additionally, the reason that the comment bothered me in the first place was because we know virtually nothing about this particular tank, I.E. What type of gun it uses, the armour it has, the damage control and fire suppression system, and if it has one of those god-awful auto-loaders that have for whatever reason have become more popular today. For all we know, it could be from the future and use some fancy ETC gun acheiving 3.5km/s velocity and have some ultra advanced armour.
Additionally, I am not denying that the M1 Abrams and its variants are damn good MBT's.
