Guess what? Page time! Had been a while since the last page. Reason this took so long: Re-sketched several times, scrapped, started over, loosing motivation, no time, style-change. Oh well. But here it is! The next page! The next one will probably have another background-style. At least, that s what I m hoping!So, here we have some childish playing around - and a bunch of irony!

Haha, kids! Yeah, Artia: She s gonna play a big role. I think, she looks evil mostly because of her snout (triangular shapes are mostly a good choice for bad guys!) - Well, I wont tell to much about her yet!

Ha, I know what panel you ve meant, no worries! I m not sure, if I made Malefor a bit to wimpy - but after all, it s his first day at the forest/swamp! - Yeah, those eyes: dark colored with a bright iris, slit-pupils and a red edge? Looks kind of creepy!

actually i think you made him perfectly fine !!! he's not really courageous ( as seen in dotd ) but not a coward either . much more normal and closer to the game .

Hm, you re right! But well, he is sly (or Artia is a bit dumb in here!) and knows how to react fast to a chnage in the situation!
Yeah, not bad, what became from the first design (what was pretty sparkly, can be seen here: [link] ) I m proud, how she came out. It is a very simple design, but still very effective and unique (even if I have to admit, it s not 100% Spyro-style anymore, well, doesn t matter!)

I wasn t sure about the style at first - I thought, I m drifting to far away. But well, I painted that bat-inspired design, because I wasnt 100% satisfied with the old one and now it s stuck! Also like the new color-sheme more!

Yeah, but back at CASF-time I was a real copy-cat (well, copied the style, not the characters!) - slowly developing my own style from the experiences I ve gathered. Yeah, Malefor is also some kind of creator (okay, in DOTD he needed to destroy the old world first to create a new one, but that still counts

of course by creation , i meant malefor was the first of his kind . so his presence can be interpreted as a new tradition ( which is depicted as pure evil ) but spyro always does what the guardians do ( utter symbol of old traditions ) which makes me a malefor-fan !!!
