There's a nifty used games store that just opened up near me called Gamedeals. I got to know the proprieter pretty well and he asked me to make a big NES controller for his window display. I say, sure no problem, and two weeks later this is the result. And no, it doesn't actually work to play NES games.

It's mostly made of .4cm styrene plastic and balsa wood and held together with acrylic glue. Spray paints and acrylic paints were used for colors. The buttons are foam sheets, styrofoam, and more plastic sheets. The wire thing is an old christmas light thing that I painted black and held together with screws and epoxy paste. The whole thing is covered in two layers of Varathane floor coating and measures 100cm x 43 cm.
