KC-135A-10-BN, 57-2599 assigned to the 905th ARS, 319th BW on the "SAC Ramp" at Grand Forks AFB seen in April 1981.This was the large ramp where most of the daily fliers were parked and most of the line maintenance took place.
I like the 'busy' feelingΒ this picture conveys of the hard work that took place every day to maintain these jets.

Me too.  I have flown on several of these and I always enjoyed the flights.  I really like the looks of the jet. They look best as the KC-135E f16crewchief.deviantart.com/ar⦠/ C-135B variants f16crewchief.deviantart.com/ar⦠with the TF-33 fans.

No... I still feel that the country should buy major weapons systems from local companies. Imagine if France does not like a military action the US gets involved with and shuts off the supply pipeline. Remember the Swedish P-35s's?
