Description
After months of silence (supressed mostly because I had other obligations which didn't need interupting), the craze for Pokémon suddenly came to life for me at the end of August- Playing the games, visiting Pokémon forums again, setting up a Pokémon site, and of course, drawing new Pokémon pictures!I ended up sketching a bunch of trainers, and CGing five of them. Anyway, I'm posting this one as I think it's the best of the lot. ^_^

Thanks a lot! It's funny, people at Serebii forums seemed to note the shading on the arms and legs in particular, but it was the same technique used for everything else. LOL

Thanks for the pleasant comments. I too think May makes an appealing character, even though I had only actually seen 1 and a half episodes with her in them at the time I drew this (now it's 4 w00t). LOL About the other four... Hmm, I could post them if you really want me to, or... I am also working on a new web site which will hold the entirety of my own Pokémon fan art collection. It's not ready for a really grand opening, but I'm trying. Perhaps you could wait a bit and see them there... I'll see how things go.

But, there's just one thing I don't understand... how come you haven't put up so many of your older artworks (such as, for example, my darling Arbok gift ^.^)? I'm sure I'm not the only person who'd enjoy seeing them up here.

Oh, joy, fab picture! ^o^ I've been needing my fix as of late, I have to say.
Anyway, a most excellent effort as always babe; the shading (and unobtrusive highlighting) is simple yet very effective, and the pose is original, eye-catching and right on the mark. May has (oddly, I'll admit) been one of my favorite characters in the series after the Team Rocket trio right from the beginning of the sixth season, and it pleases me to no end to see such a well-rendered artwork of her. Just spiffy! *thumbs it up*
