Description More experimentation with selective color. The original shot was good, but I figured I'd give it a go here too. The BNSF traction seems to work well for that.

And I couldn't resist the title. It didn't dawn on me until later how the locomotives were lashed up.

A continuation on the first two shots, but I think this is the best of the three. Two BNSF ES44ACs (#6000 and #5850) make a sandwich out of a BNSF SD70MAC (#9776), while waiting at the East Leavenworth siding on the St. Joseph sub. This particular coal drag is coming from the Iatan power plant, just up the road.

I think these new selective colour pics look really nice, you should do it more often

I've been thinking that too. And this material is easily six months old (or just about), so I think as I go out and shoot new stuff, I'll be looking for ways to do selective color, but in a completely different style.
