Description
THis isn't my first attempt at HDR photography, though it is the first one I consider to be a success. Here, the westbound signal for the CP K290 interlocking at Hays sits dark. An eastbound coal drag sits in the hole just beyond the frame, waiting for a track warrant to proceed eastbound to Salina and then Kansas City.

Canon EF 20-35mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
ISO 200 @ 1/125, f/9

Awesome. I wish the horizon were just a bit straighter, though. It seems to be tilting just barely to the right. Not sure what that piece in the lower-right-hand corner is, either, but it bugs me.

I can't fix the horizon, Mother Nature must've been drunk when she was molding that landscape back there.
As far as the lower right corner, that was a framing error on my half. it's part of a crossing gate at the intersection.
