"Lord Pristine Ordiel appeared out of sorts?" Tarkin blurts.

"Yes," Drea agrees, rolling the towel down over her hair and turning in place, "it does sound odd, though you should be careful with your words, Commander. Ordiel's behavior at Court is exemplary, even if we share the impression that his respectful demeanor is merely an immaculate veneer over a monolithic ambition." The Magistrate turns, drawing the lengths of her hair down her neck and over one shoulder. "Walk with me, My Lords." Flanked by her two silent attendants, Drea walks back into the bathing chamber and directs them toward the far passage from it. Behind her, the two men follow, Tarkin wincing at the echo of his heavy, booted footfalls in the quiet.

"It appears that I should have a word with my liaison," Drea continues as she skirts the pool's edge, "and possibly seek an audience with the Assembly itself. By all written accounts, the Night Guard were responsible for as much trouble in this city as they were supposed to alleviate, or is my recollection flawed?"

Tarkin and Theonius exchange glances, uncertain whom the Magistrate is addressing, but the Captain of the City Watch speaks first. "Ending its authority and disbanding its last units was my first real task on coming here with you, High Lady," he says. "For the most part, the members were either jailed for their misconduct or re-sworn as members of the City Watch, though there were many whose loyalties to their patrons amongst the Lords' Assembly made either option difficult."

"Many of them turned in their Night Guard arms and armor to don the leathers of brigandage, High Lady," Theonius adds. "As Luther Vandermoor has suggested, there is some evidence that members of the Lords' Assembly may be... supporting such activities, though only on a small scale."

"Small scale or not," Drea says with open fervor, "an investigation into their affairs would be an extremely delicate endeavor, while at the moment, Tarkin, I feel you are right that it is time I assume a stronger presence at Court." Ahead of them, the darkness of the corridor reveals hulking shapes pierced by two pairs of cold, glowing eyes. "We will address this public hearing session with a visual reminder of the power granted to and retained by this office."

I used a reference provided to me by a wonderful anonymous stock model for Drea. She, like others who have given me material, included a variety of different camera angles that make these fun. Thank you!

Enjoy!

Note: Twisted Plot and Demon's Due are a work of fantasy and fiction. The artist/creator in no way condones this kind of treatment toward any woman or man, by living person, gremlin, plant, assassin, ratman, viscous fluid, programmed device, animated home furnishings, or otherworldly spiritual beings. Furthermore, the artist opposes the marginalizing and restriction of women in general by any institution, political and/or religious, including those which have individual women amongst their membership touting/promoting their own happiness within that institution as evidence that ALL women should feel the same way. This includes the religion I was raised in and which I have utterly discarded from my life over this and other issues.

Let's see if I can make an artistic observation that's at least slightly coherent here.  My first reaction to this was that it has a decidedly different look to most of your images, to the point where it looked at first almost like solely an image of a woman's shoulders and head, surrounded by a collage of shapes, colors, and textures.  It took a few moments for all the 'pieces' to slowly fall into place and form the full image, which was actually a pretty cool effect.  This is probably due to the entourage walking toward a black background; if there'd been a stone wall or a window, it would likely totally change the effect.  So I'm curious if it was intentional, or if perhaps my mind is just working even more slowly than usual.  (Unfortunately, Occam's Razor suggests the latter!)

Hmmmm. Well, to be honest, I wasn't sure if I liked the black background on this one, but I wanted to concentrate on the figures more than on a perspective drawing of the pool and draperies and pillasters and such. But, perhaps if I were to put a solid drapery in the background, sitting at a slight angle that recedes to the left as I imagined things, it could change it all and we could see if your perception does suggest an improvement! I may not get to it here on DA before I'm doing the final production work for the hardcopy TP 2 publication in another couple of weeks, but I'll be sure to post the other option and a credit to your observation if it does look better. Thanks a bunch!

I kind of had that thought too ... not a drapery but a receding wall or something that could (hopefully) be easily added as a background almost, and a drapery would be just as effective.  Anyway, thanks as always for sharing with us!

Love the subtle musculature in the shoulder blades. One of my favorite regions of a fit athletic woman's physique!

I love the drape of her hair over her shoulder here. It's very sensuous and the juxtaposition with the conversation and her dress and movements is delicious.

I think many of the more serious scenes from film and literature could potentially be improved with some nudity... Thanks a bunch!

I like BIG BUTTS and I can not lie;
You other brothers can't deny—

Drea: "Lord Tarkin."
Tarkin: "High Lady?"
Drea: "Please have the musicians put to death."
Tarkin: "Right away, High Lady."
Theonius: "Surely a horse whipping will suffice, High Lady."
Drea: "Oh, very well... but don't call me Shirley."
Theonius: "Never again, High Lady."
Tarkin [in a whispered aside to Theonius]: "Big softie."

Ah, will Airplane's humor ever truly die, or did I pick the wrong day to stop sniffing glue...?

The White Zone is for immediate loading and unloading of naked, bound & gagged damsels only. There is no stopping in the Red Zone.

And the twist is: the musicians are kind of into that.

Tarkin and Theo would avert their eyes.
"Don't look!"
"Not looking, High Lady!"

I am sorry. Sometimes the serious works are often ripe for parody.
