Yeah, I finished the 12th book... in one day. Oops. Now I need to read it again! XDI really like how Queen Wasp is still mostly an unknown. I mean, she's appeared, but we dont yet know how strong she physically is, how many powers she has, or how she mind-controls dragons ((spoiler, sorta) the way she brings dragons into the hive mind is known, but not how she actually takes control).
Anyway, I decided to do my own take based on how I would draw a hivewing, plus the "official" reference on her wikia page. I made some changes based on the anatomy and how markings might be effected, but whatever. Its not like we get overly detailed descriptions of these dragons.

I’m not gonna lie, Queen wasp, in my opinion, is the best wof villain period. She’s genuinely terrifying. The last two books made me feel genuinely uncomfortable with how messed up her little queendom is.

I certainly have, but in a series that has had some pretty generic villains so far, Wasp is certainly a step up. I love not knowing quite what her motives are or why she is doing certain things. I also love the sadistic, controlling nature she has towards just about everything. It makes the whole continent these dragons live on feel claustrophobic in a way.

Book 12 is pretty great. I'm glad you read it, and even though I despise Queen Wasp I think this looks great!

Haha! Yeah... I do tend to stay away from WoF art because I know how this fandom can get. Thankfully, I have had positive interactions so far, so Im thinking about maybe doing a bit more.
Book 12 literally just came out 4 days ago, I thankfully have an Amazon account and $10 so I didnt need to wait for it to arrive. The kindle app is my life honestly.

Ah. I don't have a kindle and i can't stand to read things digitally so I get the hardcovers. I will never get a paperback, they wear too easily.
