Description
Jason has red hair as seen in Friday 2, so he's a ginger Maine Coon in this AU. (Get it? Cuz Maine Coons like water and are massive?)I'm making versions with and without the masks, not sure if I was to upload the versions without the masks separately, though. So, we'll see what I do with that later, I suppose.

Jason was a special case, similar to the Sinclair brothers. Discovered on the street, the only surviving kitten in a small litter from a she-cat the employees named 'Pamela'. Pamela lived behind the cafe and would regularly attack anyone who got close to her nest (And by extension, anyone who got close to Jason.) only occasionally taking food that the employees would offer to her. The employees attempted multiple times to bring Pamela and Jason inside the cafe, but Pamela would go crazy every time they got too close to her kit. It wasn't until a rabid dog showed up that things changed, as Pamela tried her best to fight it off, but ultimately got bitten. Animal control showed up and got the dog, but also had to take away Pamela since she was infected as well, resulting in both being humanely euthanized.
Jason was extremely skittish and shy for a while, often only being seen waddling around the alleyway, mewing for his mother. It took some time, but as the employees left food out for him day by day, Jason eventually trusted them enough to let a barista, Ginny, pick him up and carry him inside. It was there the staff realized why Pamela was so protective of him, as he was deformed and had health problems, mainly problems eating and breathing. Of course, seeing as they already had a few cats with 'issues', nobody objected to letting him stay.
Jason tends not to be an aggressive cat unless provoked, or unless staff members at the cafe start making out on the job. This cat is more than willing to jump on you and sink his claws into your bare skin if he finds you getting shirtless with your partner in the breakroom. Despite his absolute willingness to make biscuits on your bare chest if he finds you slacking, is actually a very affectionate cat who will go limp in your arms if you cradle him like a baby. There has never been a point when he's meowed since he was a kitten. He's hissed and purred, but has since never uttered a single meow. Jason also unapologetically plays favorites. Ginny has basically become his new momma, and he makes sure everyone knows it. The amount of times someone has found Ginny asleep with Jason loafing on her back is astounding.
Jason gets along fairly well with the other cats for the most part. Obviously there are spats here and there, but Jason rarely ever starts fights with anyone. ... There is, however, one exception: Freddy. Jason and Freddy have held a grudge against one another the moment they started their first fight (Which was Freddy's fault, obviously.) It's not a constant war, but if they're in the same room, it's usually only a matter of time before one of them attacks the other.
