Description
Has anyone else heard the song Rob Zombie made based on his Halloween movies? 'Michael'? It's pretty good tbh.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mikey is the brother of Michael. Though, technically, they're both named Michael. (This is because Lorie didn't have any ideas for Mikey's name, so named him 'Michael' as well as a placeholder. Though, that name kind of stuck, so people usually refer to him with the nickname 'Mikey' instead to avoid confusion.) Of the two boys in the Myers litter, Mikey was given the hardest time by their sisters. He was considered the 'runt of the runts' and was born sickly; it was a miracle that he managed to survive his kitten-hood. Of course, he took the most after his father, pretty much being only two steps away from looking like an actual caracal. Mikey was actually the one who instigated the boys fighting back when their sisters tried to run them off, and was definitely the more brutal of the two in how he fought back.
Of course, then the two brothers were taken by the pound. Whereas Michael was taken by the lead of 'The cult of Thorn', Mikey was taken by a local pet psychiatrist and trainer named 'Doctor Loomis'. Loomis became mainly interested in him sue to his bloodline and apparent violent behavior. Of course, Loomis barely had any real care about Mikey, mainly just wanting to be 'the guy who tamed a wild cat'. As time went by though, it became increasingly clear to Loomis that Mikey wasn't responding to normal techniques for pet care and training. Eventually, he gave up and left Mikey in the cage he'd been kept in all that time, only showing up to fulfill the basic food and water needs, then leaving to train and look over other animals. Mikey stewed on this for all that time, basically being left to gather dust in that tiny cage and only having the janitor for occasional company.
This made him a bit stir crazy as you might expect, correlating in a specific situation that led to his escape: Apparently, one of the other trainers was taking some of the animals and studding them out to random people (Which, considering some of them were pets from people wanting them to be trained, was obviously illegal.) The guy made the mistake of opening Mikey's cage, thinking he'd be a perfect candidate to stud out, resulting in both of his eyes being scratched clean out of his skull. Mikey escaped that facility and went back to his old neighborhood, wanting his family back. Animal control was called again, but this time, they could tell he wasn't a normal cat. Assuming him to be some exotic pet that got out, they sent out some word hoping to get the owner's attention, which was where Lorie came back into Mikey's story.
Lorie had a terrible time proving Mikey was hers, but eventually, she managed to produce enough proof that they let her take him (Along with his brother, who was also at the shelter.). Lorie's manager was hesitant to let Mikey and Michael stay, but after producing documents pertaining to his rabies shots, and some days watching him at Lorie's apartment and seeing him fairly content, they slowly introduced him to the other staff and cats. Mikey's pretty content, having Lorie back, and now having an entire group of cats as his new family.
Mikey is just as quiet, independent, and fearless as his brother. He gives zero fucks, but unlike his brother, he's a bit more prone to showing emotion. He's still somewhat hard to read, like his brother, but a bit less so that Michael. He's also much more direct in how he communicates, so it's a lot easier to understand what he wants when he's trying to get your attention. Mikey often is the one of the two myers' brothers to ask the staff for food or treats. After being reunited with Lorie, Mikey has become much less prone to using his claws, thankfully. He's extremely careful not to hurt anyone (Mainly because he doesn't want to be taken away from Lorie or his newfound family again.) Like his brother, Mikey is massive, but he's actually a bit bigger than Michael, big enough that Lorie can't hold him by herself. Mikey, unlike Michael, isn't nearly as reserved about affection. He'll gladly sit still and let you pet him if you try, but it'll take a lot of time before he decides to rub against you or show any affection back. In fact, petting him is almost like petting a statue if he isn't comfortable enough to relax, but hey, at least he doesn't hiss and swipe at you like his brother does?
