Part 3 of my true color Jupiter textures. This time from Voyager 1 data. I love to revisit the Grand Tour :3

The colors are different again, because the Voyager camera has yet different color filters and Jupiter looked different back in 1979. The Great Red Spot was bigger and paler, the equatorial zone was red instead of white. I was unsure how to adjust the structure of belts and zones, I used vortices as reference.

Update April 24 2017
I matched the texture with planetographic projection, as required for Celestia. Also I changed the color balance again to fit in better with the other textures.
