Description Unlike the last one, I actually remember taking this one, haha. Again this is one of those shots where I accidentally focused on the foreground and the sky is out of focus. Dumb mistakes Well it's always a learning experience. With this shot I waited to capture not only the waves rushing up at the lower part of the picture, but at the same time the waves splashing over the log. Took a while, but finally it happened and I captured it.

I apologize greatly to everyone who has left me comments and such and I have not gotten back to you. Life has been insanely busy lately with work and the college Summer semester winding down (two tests next week ). So I will get back to you all as soon as I can and I greatly appreciate your support!

Thanks! Just a 4x neutral density filter and a uv filter with this one

Beautiful shot my friend. Nice exposures. The only problem I see is that you can tell where the shots were blended, because you can see water splashes near the central piece that are not supposed to be there. It is a minor problem though for a nice shot.

haha Nice catch! I had to go back and look at the original and if I understand what you're saying correctly, it's actually the way the shot was. I notice that does look rather strange, but what happened was I clicked the shutter right when the water was in mid air, so it looks like it cuts off rather unnaturally. It is supposed to be that way, but I have to admit it does looks like I had blended it there And thank you, I'm very glad you like it

Ah, well that makes sense as well. Just looked like a ghostly image sitting there, but no matter!

Although you say it was a mistake focusing on the foreground - It looks rather appropriate that way. To me anyways. Just from a first glance, I actually thought this was a two piece photo, because of the shore appearing black - which is quite a nice touch too. Gives off a feeling of distance, something being to far, and the like. In all, awesome piece

Thank you! Definitely one of those experimental shots I guess the main thing that bothered me about the unfocused background was like you said, it looked like a two piece photo at first. If the depth of field would have been gradual it might have not bothered me as much, but oh well, I'm very glad you like it!
