Description
This is an adaption of the scene from Animorphs #49: The Diversion where Rachel and Tobias eat McDonald's together.Planning two more pages, but this is basically the gist of the scene. I just wanted to upload the first two pages because I'm tired of them rotting away in my files, haha.

So Tobias is able to turn back to his human form?!

He gets his morphing power back in Book 13-The Change. Problem is, his human form is treated like a morph with the same two-hour limit rule.

But... if he purposelly stays in human form for more than two hours, would he remain human? I mean, like the first time he screwed up and had to stay as a bird? Or this time the change-back would be automatic from human to bird?

His human form is considered a morph at that point, so you'd be right. If he stays a human for more than two hours, he'll stay human. Rachel would rather that Tobias stay human while Tobias prefers to remain a hawk with morphing power to help out in the battle with the Yeerks.
I have to read some more of it, though. When the books came out, I never got all of them. That's why I'm looking for PDFs.

You are very good at telling a story through panels. The use of different perspective and movement to keep the page interesting and lively where others would have done a simple spread with a few talking heads panels.

I LOVE RACHAEL AND TOBIAS <3 Cutest couple in the world!!! I just recently re-bought more than a third of the book series and haven't been able to stop XD I used to read them when I was younger!
I never ever read this one though... Your interpretation of the characters and their appearances are very interesting!!! I love it!! Gosh, I wish I could ask for more.... But I know how hard it is to make a comic >_

I find it odd that you apologized for answering a question.
Clearly they knew that if anyone answered them they would get the name or number of the book.
Now if you tell HOW he gets his powers back, THAT would be a spoiler.
If you go to Animorphsfanforum.com and post 5 relevent posts they will let you download the ebooks, however beware that your posts will not show up at first because they need to be approved, so you will most likely need to come back the next day.

He's still normally a hawk after that point, he just gained the ability to morph into his original form, like the others can morph into animals. He'd be stuck in human form for good (and be unable to morph anymore) if he stayed that way for over two hours.

It's good to hear from you! I've followed your comic ever since you posted the first few black and white sketches! : D
I'm not sure exactly how long these pages took since I was trying to get a feel for the workflow. Nowadays it takes me a day or two to sketch out like five pages, another day or two to do the lines, and a day or two to color. So I guess it's about a week's worth of work, which makes my head hurt just to think about it. But then again, I work on them on and off, mostly after work and whenever I have time on the weekends.

Aw! Tobias is so cute! I love how you kept his original blonde hair from the series other than the brown hair they portrayed on the covers.

I really really really wanted to give him a mop of jet black emo skater-boy hair though, which is more like how I pictured him from the books. I'll have to save this hairstyle for another Animorphs character, I suppose.
