Description Working on a fan Animorphs comic with ~HotPinkCoffee who wrote a great script based on the book #20 The Discovery.

Cassie's barn. Omg. : | But Andalites are fun to draw. That is all.

I like how you bolded the words *random* and *freak accident* as if to suggest they should be replaced by "the plot". XD

Thanks! I'm trying to make this as polished as I can. Ugh, but the details, ugh. It's a labor of love, I suppose.

Thanks! I've been using Dianna Agron from Glee as a reference.

last panel: *Dun-dun-dunh!* plus dramatic pause for effect.

Fades into commercial...

sorry...probably shouldn't write comments so early. %^_^%

Haha, that's ok. When I was done with it, I was missing a couple of hours of sleep (thank goodness for daylight savings though!) and stepped back and thought that same thing.

Lol, yeah, what a dramatic line to end a page with. There's actually more to the script that ~HotPinkCoffee sent me that gets even more dramaticky and foreshadowy but all that's in the next page.

Looks awesome. The barn looks especially great - I love the composition for that interior panel. Did you use a brush for the trees? They look awesome.

One tiny, obnoxious nitpick - Rachel's hair part changes sides between two panels. Probably an easy fix?

fauxfolklore In reply to HotPinkCoffee [2010-11-08 03:45:11 +0000 UTC]

Oh, dammit! Caught! I was distinctly aware of the little problem with Rachel's hair part and distinctly remember going, "Aw, screw it. No one's going to notice," but lo! Well, it's fixed and I feel better now without that niggling feeling of letting that error in continuity slide.

No, I didn't use a brush for the trees. It's just a bunch of circles and then I combined them into one shape with the path tool. If you look closely you can see the shapes repeat themselves since I duplicated the same blob repeatedly.

I totally get you about little details. I tend to have Marco's hair switch from behind his ears to hanging loose between panels. Once you see it you can never unsee it!

Hah, yeah that's why I thought it might be a brush. CLEARLY I am not analyzing your work too much. Either way the trees look awesome.

(Thanks for the faves, btw!)
