I feel like poo and my guts hurt too much to focus on art.So here I am killing time on dA and posting some metaphorical work featuring Eli. Because I like Eli; he's easy to work with.

I've been meaning to ask, is the hand against Eli's neck a nod to the Dark Tower series? Have you read that? Have we talked about the series before? I feel like we have, but I can't remember for sure.

I've not actually! But I've been meaning to, as I've heard its a damn good series- I should see if they have it available on Audible or sommat so I can listen to it while I work.
I'm thinking we may have discussed it? IT SOUNDS AWFULLY FAMILIAR- and on that note, what in particular about this image relates to the series? I'm so damn curious now. Hahahahahaha.

I would stake money on the fact that you would love it. I have the orthogonal series on audiobook, so they do have it, the first book is read by someone else than the rest of the series, so try not to fall in love with the first guy like I did. I'm pretty sure I've urged you to read it before, its post-apocalyptic, scifi, fantasy, what-the-fuckery that's hard not to get sucked in by. A man trying sugar for the first time? Check. Homicidal train? Check. Giants that fly Nazi planes? Check. Get your hands on that shit, seriously, its amazing.
