Did this as a warm-up... I haven't drawn finished Fan-Art in a while, and well, maybe it shows
heheI had also recently cleaned up a lot of my comicbooks (massive downsizing), and so, well, I was in the mood to draw Grifter from Image Comics way back when...

I thought I would get critiqued for the hair, but I'm glad you liked it
Actually, after re-reading and skimming through the comics, to me the most interesting Image characters were the Jim Lee/Brandon Choi ones (WildCATs, Gen13). But I have to admit, I forgot about most of them, too! Hehe! It did take some time for me to re-read some of the story lines to learn some of it back ("what? who's that?" "what happened?" "??? that girl is with that guy?"... "wait, what're his powers?" ... "what's his name?") I did the same for Marvel's side characters though, haha!
Yes, you're right, it was the "leader badguy" that looked like that. I don't think the minions looked like this, I just had a bit of creative interpretation

LOL about the Brandon Choi stories. They sucked and I could never follow what the hell was going on. And if any of his dialogue bits went over 3 lines, I'd go into a mentally brain dead and skip to the next panel.

It's ok, I bet if we gave Claremont's X-Men another run through it'll be different (too young back then, not enough exercise, whole family cooped up in a condo = bad attention span). Brandon Choi is ok for me; I'm actually gonna' go through his stuff one more time as well; it's pretty interesting.

Really? I think I still wouldn't be able to read Claremont's writing even now, and Aric swears agains Choi's writing even to this day, hehe.

Nice! I almost forgot this character existed, haha, goes to show that some Image characters really weren't that interesting or good...
Overall very technically sound and I think the little glowing head (isn't that the head of the leader badguy? And did his minions look like that too?) is "cute"! hehe
