I still feel like I should work into this a bit more, but it's taken so long to finish and I should work on other things too ^^
From lineart:
I did do a digital version, but never quite finished
For the traditional original I wanted to keep a more analogical colour scheme and also have it at twilight time.
The original artwork was created using alcohol based markers and water-soluble coloured pencils on A3 Bristol board.
I hope people enjoy it.

I used mostly alcohol based markers, but also watercolour inks and coloured pencil.
The splatter on the guy's torso is supposed to be similar to markings on deer

hmm markers? I guess... just get to know them. Get to know how they work on different papers. Don't just look at marker tutorials but try out different techniques.
If you just want some cheap markers to mess around with the ProMarkers are quite a good choice

Wow, if I could write a critique I would! The detailing, time, and effort you put into this is clearly shown by how amazing it looks! All the little things just made it feel all the more magical and all the more beautiful. Great job.

When I saw this at the bottom of the page I clicked on it cause the colors were quite pretty, and I can see a lot of care went into it, it's quite a gorgeous piece and the colors work very well with it.

hahhaah I was like 'hmm this colouring style looks so familiar...so does that icon' and I stared and admired the details for like two minutes until I actually read the name XD congrats on the DD! very well deserved! this is a beautiful piece with so much life and effort put in. I love the way you used shape. It's like, you have all these different styles of object; hard metal, soft smoke, petals, mountains, etc. and like the colour scheme, you bring all these elements together beautifully. I can't tell if its like a dream or a fantasy xD

I really love the surreal little touches, like the fishes in the cup and the caged flowers. The outfits of the characters are wonderful, and I love the little abstract/Asian details like the waterfall and the steam. In all, a wonderful scene!
