Sorry ... I don't know SAI at all

The best I can say is that if you can use a bubble brush ... then try this without the bloating, warping or 3D. I did that initially when I tried bubbles but if you catch a reflection with a horizontal line it has got to be dead centre in your reflection ... bubbles will curve the horizontal line if it's not dead centre

If you're trying to reflect people or trees or a recognizable shape ... try putting the opacity to 25% or 30% ... then it won't be as noticeable but you will still have the reflection

Yeah. Once I've taken the original photos, I use Photoshop for final tweaks or to create the final masterpiece.
The reason I find your tutorial use ful is because my theme for my recent piece of coursework is reflections.
