Description
A long while ago I had made a feline character I intended as a pet for Ri, but he never got drawn.Well, with *Tacimur 's draw to adopt characters, I felt it was the perfect opportunity to recreate the fellow.

What's that subtle texture on his fur? I'm trying to make textures as well but they're never subtle enough to be believable.

I peruse through stock images of watercolor textures for use and make stamp patterns of them. If you find reference or stock textures that are subtle they work well as a cover texture.

DA's stock images are specifically labeled by the submitting artist as stock. Through Google that's significantly less reliable. I'd peruse DA and see if there are any you like.
