Mallymkun, the dormouse from Alice in Wonderland (2010) :3I love the little creature n.n Small, but still so brave...and very feisty X3 One of my favorite characters in the movie :3
The sword....needle...whaterver wearing hand looks kinda weird n.n;
And sorry for not drawing in a long time again <:3 I've been into other things quite a bit

I only can say one thing: surpass this version of AIW is simply impossible. It's a complicated book in the best of cases, a conceptual nightmare at the best of times and a theme that has flopped more than once. This adaption is simply brilliant, dazzling, has you mesmerized from beginning to end... and this small wonder is one of its brightest jewels!

No mean feat, especially since he used both volumes of AIW to do so. Disney's approach (the animated movie) was a dismal flop in that sense.

But I can't really say much about book-movie relationships as I haven't read the books. Only heard things of them.

I read fragments of the first volume at school and ended utterly confused!
The animated version Disney did in 1951, though entertaining, is quite heavy and slow in action; nevertheless, it's good, especially in the sense that Disney himself was at the helm (and he had pioneered the technique of mixing live actors and animated characters back in the 30's, his first shorts being precisely of AIW).
This last live action films Disney has released (together with Christmas Tale, a few years ago) show they are spearheading a hitherto unexplored vein... and threading heavily!
