Mala Beads: A necklace made of Tigers Eye stone that was given to her on one of her many wanders throughout the land, she found it near a Buddhist temple far from where she now lives. She hated leaving the place there, even the humans seemed to not mind her being there, and very few other cheetahs even bothered to pass through. One of the kinder of the humans, a young girl, gave her the necklace just before she decided to leave, feeling that it was time to move on. She keeps it as a reminder of her past.

She is very calm and quiet, but has never trusted anyone since her abandonment. She has always managed to avoid fights and battles, whether it be through her speaking to those on the other side, or it be through fleeing. Laini has always found others actions interesting, despite never trusting others, she has always enjoy'ed watching others react among themselves, keeping herself well hidden while she does so. She is also very shy, and would never approach someone herself, even if she knew they where not a threat to her at the time.

Calm: Laini has never been drawn into a panic'd state of mind, she has always managed to keep herself calm, reacting with patience and making sure to not over react. Panic is just a way for the mind to make mistakes quickly, and when the mind is calm it has a more logical way of thinking, not expecting the worst or the best out of anything, and staying happy with even the minimum no matter what had been hoped for.

Shy: She's always tried to keep out of the way of others, only spoken when spoken to and even then she finds a hard time saying anything. Keeping hidden from others is a way of resolving this, she knows that if she approaches someone for any reason, she will be forced to rely on how they respond to her. and it is because of these thoughts that she remains extremely shy around others.

Mistrusting: Laini has never trusted anyone, so far what she has learned by trying to do so is to only expect betrayal so she simply forces herself to not think lightly of others. Always expecting that the worse will come out of them eventually. So if she does stay with anyone else for a short amount of time, she ends up fleeing before anything goes wrong, sometimes after, yet still. The shorter amount of time spent with others is often the better.

Watchful: She has always found interest in watching others around her, keeping hidden while doing so of course, and not only doing so to look for items to steal. She does this because seeing how others act among themselves is simply interesting, and seeing as she has almost always been on her own, it is how she learns how to act when confronted by certain types of cheetahs or other creatures. She also does this when she is in need of an ally, while she never fully trusts any one, there are times where she knows she needs someone at her side, even if only for a day.

Theft: Laini has never been much of one who chooses to do her own work, using her tactics and keeping hidden, she would rather take something from someone else. Of course she wouldn't take it if she knew that they desperately needed it, and she only keeps to stealing things such as small game and things she finds pretty yet useless, decorating her home with them.

Strengths:
Stealth: Due to Laini's small stature she is very very good at finding hiding places and getting in and out of areas without being noticed. She also is very good at paying attention to where she places her paws, making sure not to make any noises to give away her position.

Agility: She is very good at weaving back and forth while continuing a steady pace, as well as making her way through tight spaces smoothly without having trouble or being stopped. As said before Laini is also good at keeping her eyes on the path, making sure she is not to stumble or accidentally run into anything.

Tactics: Laini is very good at planing things ahead of time, seeking how she is going to get out of a place before she makes her way into it, as well as studying the movements of her possible foes before planning any ways of avoiding or (rarely) confronting them.

Weaknesses:
Fighting: Despite how old Laini is, she is still very small, and was never trained for battle. She also could never find herself to practice, she had no friends to practice with growing up and she really did not want to risk fighting someone she did not know.

Strength: Laini does not have much muscle build, she has what she needs for hunting small game such as rabbits and birds. (since shes always been on her own she hasn't hunted big game), because of this she would easily be over powered in a fight.

Trust: Laini never trusts anyone completely, its the reason she has never joined a collation or wanted to. She fears that anyone she trusts will betray her, and if she lets anyone get to know her well enough that they will use anything against her that they can.

History:
As a cub Laini's life was harsh, her mother only cared for her until she was old enough to eat solid food, and after that she was only taken care of by her father. Having had no other siblings her father was able to focus his anger on her, just as much as her mother was able to voice her displeasure of having had a daughter rather then a son.
She was trained brutally on a daily basis; her father would pound her into the ground during battle training, and occasionally he drew blood though it was never so bad of a wound that it scar'd over, she never truly learned anything other then the pain that her parents caused her whenever she was within their grasp, though hunting small prey was something she did managed to remember, she knew she would need to know at least that if she was to ever get away from her parents.
They weren't part of a true collation, for her parents had been outcast from wherever they had been before Laini was born, they also never named her, she was only referred to as Bubu Moja (dumb one) or Mtoto (child).
It took until she was six moons for her to gain the courage to flee in the dead of night. Both her parents slept at the rear of the cave that they had claimed as their camp, leaving her to be the 'guard' or rather as they called it 'the uwindo (prey) used to distract enemies'.
Once away from them Laini ran as far as she could, hiding when another cheetah or being larger then her was within sight, and only stopping in the dead of night when she was too tired to continue her travels.

Laini was on her own for a moon before she met a kinder female cheetah named Liko, who offered her food and a place to stay for as long as she wished. Laini gratefully accepted this offer though she was weary of the cheetesses reasons.
Liko was the one to actually name Laini, once realizing how quiet the young cheetah was. Liko often questioned Laini about her past and why such a young cheetah was living so alone. Laini never gave her a full answer, insisting that her family was dead and she had no collation to return to. After many conversations about this Liko dropped the subject.
During Laini's time with Liko, she was taught how to steal, how to avoid others and easy ways to stay hidden, the best places in the area to hide, and the places one should avoid at all costs.
Laini was never caught while with Liko, however one day liko asked her to go to a certain place she had never been to before, it was in a small human village with many vibrant buildings and humans constantly going about the streets.
While she was uncertain, she had grown to trust Liko, so she did it.
She carefully made her way into the town, it was night at the time, and she managed to keep to the darkest of shadows. Liko had asked her to retrieve a specific item from a large building at the center of the town. The building was painted green and had intricate designs of lotus flowers as well as birds of some kind.
Laini made it to the building easily, padding onto its wooden floors, carefully. One step however and they began to creak, she leaped with fright but remained loyal to her task and continued to make her way inward.
She managed to grab the item and made her way out, but at the door stood Liko, her face darkened by the shadows in the room clashing with the moon's light outside.
Liko let out a furious hiss as she sped away from the human made building, yowling loudly as she could as she ran. Laini's heart raced with terror as she realized what was happening. Liko had set her up, the thefts that the two of them had been doing has build up quite a word around the humans village and those doing it where wanted dead.
They did not know it was two cheetahs, merely only that it was one or so doing it.

Laini panicked trying to flee, only to run head first into a small human girl, causing them both to topple over in the gravel road. Lainis first response was to run, to get as far away from the human as possible. After all of the terrible things she had heard of them and their ways of killing animals, she feared for her own life, knowing that if she did not get away quickly she would be dead, her pelt strung together in a wrong way and warn on a humans body for warmth.
She quickly began to get away, paws scrabbling loudly on the gravel, she stumbled, having wounded her leg in her rushed escape of the building.
The young girl approached her, slowly, lifting her hand towards Laini. Laini flinched, fearing what the human would do to her.

It turned out that the child saved Laini's life, shielding her as the hunters of the village arrived, spears pointed at the cheetesses throat. The child convinced them that she was no threat, and not the cheetah who had been stealing their prey.
(despite that it was true and that she was one of those stealing from them)
The humans healed Laini' wound and released her at the building they had found her outside of. Making sure that all others in the village knew not to harm her in hopes she would protect them from those cheetahs who did attack.
Several moons passed and no other cheetahs bothered the village, leaving Laini in peace as she was fed by the young girl who had saved her. One day, the girl placed a necklace; known as a sting of mala beads to the Buddhist, around Laini's neck, and it was at that moment that she knew it was time for her to leave, so the night after she received the beads, she left.

As Laini traveled she learned to avoid other signs of life unless they where that of small prey. She remained a loner, and now three cycles and six moons after having been born and many moons after having left her family, she has found joy in being alone. But now she has also begun to enjoy the reactions of those around her, sticking close to other cheetahs once again, stealing from them and the humans near by, but making sure to go out of her way as to not be seen or acknowledged in any way.

I hate her, that distasteful terrible rouge! At first I thought I had found a new family! someone to actually love as though she where my mother, but then she went out of her way to use me! I was being used the whole time wasn't I.. even so! shes proved how well her name truly suits her! A mouth full of lies is what she is!

Laini padded quietly through the tall grass, the scent of strange cheetahs attracting her attention. her ears where perked as far as they would go, though still compared to those of an average cheetah they still seemed to be laid back shyly. Her movements were slick, as she tried to stay hidden from any others around her, she did not want to be found, even if she was interested in who these new cheetahs were. Laini's soft green eyes peered out from the grass as it began to thin out, ahead of her she could see a cluster of bushes, and just to its right she saw an gaping hole that seemed to lead under ground. There where many scents around her, she recognized a few of them as those from the coalitions that lived in this territory, but great many of them she did not know, and in a way their scent was odd as though something was different about them other then that they came from the underground.
