These are my favourite types of shots. My dad has subscribed to National Geographic for as long as I can remember. As a kid I would slowly go through them and look at the photos - captivated by rural scenes of places I'd never been - the same goes for urban / people shots. To me photos like this speak volumes more than the usual that you see on the main page from time to time.

And I also see that you've been duotoning a lot more often - NICE I think it adds to a photo like this, given the style of the building it almost gives this a nostalgic feel - as if you'd expect to see this picture hanging inside the building, marking the opening of the outlet 40-50-60 years ago. I can totally picture it on the wall in an old black frame Duotoning is such a nice technique and I think you used it really well here.

The composition is great - I like how you've gotten in nice and close to the building - filling the frame from edge to edge (although leaving just enough room for the picnic tables piled up on the side). Also like the fact that there are equal parts sky and ground in the frame.

This is a great photo - I hope to see more like this!
