Well, I had to make a blog entry about this two-parter, because there was certainly a lot that did happen!
We had the first G1 MLP villain make an appearance as the main baddie, Discord's friendship being tested, an epic final battle, and Twilight finally getting her own kingdom!
And of course, this episode most likely upset quite a few Fluttercord fans when Discord decided to betray his friendship with Fluttershy for being his evil chaotic self again... But it all worked out in the end, right? Discord learned his lesson, and Fluttershy forgave him! And that is more than enough to keep this Fluttercord fan happy!
But enough about me, what were your thoughts towards this season's ending?

I absolutely LOVED IT! And I was going crazy for how many FlutterCord scenes in the episodes! And us FlutterCord shippers don't haft to worry about when Discord gave Celestia flowers because Meghan herself said that it was an apology and nothing more and she was sorry for making us think that! PLUS Celestia didn't blush! There is no proof for Dislestia every being a thing! FLUTTERCORD FOREVER!!...........................sorry I'm fan girling

You don't haft to worry about that. Meghan said it was an apology and nothing more and she was 'sorry' for making us think that so we're safe! Plus there was no sign of Celestia blushing or giggling at Discord's gift.

For a moment I thought I was watching DBZ: Re-enacted by Ponies. I loved the ending, and the song at the end (Let the Rainbow remind you) was a direct hit to the feelings. Liquid pride was shed.

All the Celesticord shippers going gaga because he handed her two bouquets and winked (not to mention played puppets on the stained glass windows while Celestia and co were tossed into Tartarus, whereas he actually looked guilty after Tirek sucked out the powers of the five ponies + Spike)! We had SO many Fluttercord moments -Β
1. Fluttershy defends him in the beginning when they find out that Discord was chosen to capture Tirek
2. She has an endearing smile when he bends over Applejack before handing Twilight the book
3. THEY HAVE TEA PARTIES
4. THAT FACE WHEN HE TELLS TIREK IT'S MOSTLY FOR FLUTTERSHY
5. THE PHOTO OF HIM AND FLUTTERSHY ON THE NIGHTSTAND WHEN HE CONTEMPLATES BETRAYING HER. Her, not the other five! I don't see Celestia's photo on his nightstand rofl!
6. Fluttershy believing in him and defending him to her friends, right before he returns; Fluttershy launching herself into his arms when he returns!
7. FLUTTERSHY CRYING BECAUSE SHE TOTALLY BELIEVED IN HIM AND HOW COULD HE DO THIS YOU SELFISH A**HOLE
8. Discord basically saying that Fluttershy is worth more than all the Alicorn magic in Equestria. SHE IS WORTH MORE TO HIM THAN EQUESTRIA BEING DOOMED FOR ALL ETERNITY BY TIREK.
9. DISCORD APOLOGIZING AND FLUTTERSHY SAYING SHE KNOWS HE'S SORRY.
10. Discord acknowledging that he isn't quite up to best friend level yet (his last words in this episode, with Fluttershy XD)
Sure, he gives Celestia two bouquets and winks. We don't know if he meant it as an apology, or casual flirting, or both, or if the other bouquet was meant for Luna. Can that really discount all the Fluttercord moments the episode gave us, the fact that they genuinely like each other and he feels remorse, that they spend time together off-screen and send each other letters, and in the end she acknowledges his mistake and accepts his apology, even knowing that he still has a way to go?
Fluttercord is totally my OTP and this episode gave us truckloads of it. If the writers decide to make Celesticord a thing, I'll be disappointed, but it's their show, and maybe one day I'll grow to like it. In the meantime, Fluttercord 5ever! <3 <3 <3

Thank you! You summed up everything in one (well, two) post(s)! I think the flowers thing was either an apology or a reference to that ship. I bet the people working on it are having a good laugh at all the people who take that tiny action as solid evidence. And hey, where's Sombra in all of this?

11. She stifles laughter when he jokes about becoming an Alicorn princess <3
12. She looks aghast when Rainbow Dash punches his hat off his head
13. She looks for him when she and the other ponies + Spike are released but he's still trapped in Tirek's bubble (Rainbow Dash looks up too, but Fluttershy looked up first lol)

...now that I'm rewatching it, it looks like Fluttershy and Dash look up at the same time/Dash looks up first... I wish we could edit posts in Deviantart because this is getting long -__- at any rate Fluttershy is in the foreground and she does look for Discord so that has to mean something XD

And about the infamous bouquets, people, Seabreeze (the breeze who is married and with child and going all crazy to get home to his wife ans kid) gave Fluttershy a flower, does it means he has romantic feeling for her?, Sweetybelle, a filly, gave Twilight a flower, what, is Sweetybelle some kind of gay filly?. You give fΓ±ower to a person for a lot of reasons! you also wink at people for a lot of reasons, that doesn't have to be romantic. But you don't just say to a person "you're more worth it", those words worth a whole a lot of more than a simple bouquets and wink

Lol, the flowers had all the colors of the Mane 6 too, so it looked more like a friendship thing; if he'd given her roses I'd have been more taken aback XD besides, maybe they exploded in her face offscreen rofl
But yeah, one of the parts that broke my heart into little pieces (and there were several in the season finale XD) was when Discord said that Fluttershy was worth it. She was worth the fate of an entire civilization/world. THAT'S - JUST - THE FEELS TT______TT

I really liked it!! It was one of the best two-parter episodes of this series.
I'm actually glad they tested Discord's friendship with the mane 6. It's more realistic for his character because, as he said, Fluttershy was his first ever friend in over a thousand years, and he knew the other five didn't really trust him to begin with, and he probably thought Fluttershy would act the same way since she's closer to them than she is him. So of course, when he saw her cry you know he felt guilty and saw how important their friendship really was to him.
Also, I'd hate to put off any Dislestia shippers, but if you pause the scene where he's holding the bouquet to Celestia, you can see he's holding TWO bouquets! Some fans have assumed they were for both Celestia AND Luna as an apology for his misdeeds. So I wouldn't jump to any conclusions until if/when he admits feelings for someone.
I don't know how close fluttercord is to being canon, but I think they are a lot closer friends now than before at least. Part of me doesn't think the writers will put any romantic storylines with Discord on the show. I hope I'm wrong though, cause I'd love to have a recreation of the Fluttercord date from 's fanfic "It's all Hooey!".

OMG Fluttercord is soooooo close to being canon!! Overall I thought the finale was amazing and Twilight's character had a great role. One thing I am confused about is that Discord really did intend to betray them and was only sorry when he was betrayed. I wish he would have made the choice before then.

On the next season there should be a pirate themed adventure with Discord playing dress up on his own ship!

I was upset because you put DF's icon, which means she's gone read you mention her. I don't know her much, but I can say she's a privet person who doesn't want to call any attention. She writes because she like to, not to call attention. And I do know organizing the whole YouTube audio drama is hard because I'm part of the art team and I know she has to deal with artist sometimes not making the deadline, organizing the voice audios, re-writing her fic so it fits into a script. So I was afraid that because I made a journal just because I wanted to know other FlutterCord shipper's opinion about all we saw in the last episode, she end up feeling bad or pressure by been tag by you.
Also a lot of CelesCord are trolling the FlutterCords over internet because of that single scene, and some get sensible about it because they love the shipp so much. I myself get a little sensible about it, but I'm to sure of FlutterCord and it's present and future canoness to a single scene and a bunch of internet trolls get through me. But you saying Hasbro wanting to make CelesCord cannon can affect some sensibilities, and this is a FlutterCord group, the ones who shipps them comes hear to see and read things that makes them feel better and more secure about their shipp, not the other way around.
So that's why I called you troll, I thought you were some CelesCord shipper coming to our group to hurt sensibilities and to upset DF because of her wonderful fic.
It was a misunderstanding, I'm sorry, but please, don't tag DF, just let her be (it's a petition not an order, from my heart of hearts) she has a lot of pressure on her only because of her talent.

It was adorable how she hugged him "You're back!" and while at the same time glaring at Discord onscreen: "Look how she cares for you! And you're about to betray her!"

That actually says quite a lot about how his mind works. He says that the ponies should have seen his betrayal coming Β but is completely taken aback when someone does the same to him. For no other reason that he was given a pendant by him. Which kinda makes me wonder how much contact he has actually had with characters that aren't the good guys. Why did he trust him? What's his logic? It's like he can't comprehend the idea that there are bad guys besides him. I mean that was genuine hurt. 
Discord's pretty innocent when you think about it. He's ok with raining chaos down on the world and just hanging around doing his thing but the minute things get out of his control he turns into a scared child.Β

Difference is, Princess Luna transition from good to evil and reformation was pretty absolute. She started as good, was tempted by the dark side and then reformed. It's easier to forgive her because she was good to start. Discord's the exact opposite. He started off as bad, was reformed by the power of friendship, then turned to the dark side again. He was bad to start with so it's more difficult for him.
