Well, I had to make a blog entry about this two-parter, because there was certainly a lot that did happen!
We had the first G1 MLP villain make an appearance as the main baddie, Discord's friendship being tested, an epic final battle, and Twilight finally getting her own kingdom!
And of course, this episode most likely upset quite a few Fluttercord fans when Discord decided to betray his friendship with Fluttershy for being his evil chaotic self again... But it all worked out in the end, right? Discord learned his lesson, and Fluttershy forgave him! And that is more than enough to keep this Fluttercord fan happy!
But enough about me, what were your thoughts towards this season's ending?

Me neither and I expected a slap from Fluttershy but that would be so "Game of Thrones"! I'm sure next time the Mane 6 would have to watch him like those alcoholic celebrities on DUI/probation!

I don't see Fluttershy as the slapping type.

Not as aggressive as Rainbow Dash would desire(she's the groin kicking type) and Rarity(soap opera) but since Fluttershy has had her angry moments she could! Just very weak like how she treated a window in one episode after screaming "I said no!"

I can see them getting closer in the following season. Since it's established to both of them that she really does count him as a friend, even if she doesn't really like him. It's a nice little look into her personality.

It would probably end with everyone falling out with each other and then being brought together by something they all share and becoming closer than ever, possibly with some subtle character development mixed in....
That's the way most episodes go.

It's for a parody of those Disneyland Fun sing-along videos but set in Universal Studios with the MLP characters and human OCs on rides and their dream musical sequences. Well I kind of grew up watching those sing alongs and going to theme parks with my family that I used to make up stories either playing with my dolls or creating a music playlist inspired by these trips. Most recently, the ponies got to be the main stars alongside random Barbies as OCs!

I think the whole part of it is that Discord is so new at being a friend that he will reach out to anyone because he has not learned the meaning of discernment yet

Well and at the same time he's still a manipulative creature who has been seen fall into a relapse after the trouble in "Keep Calm.." But after "Twilight's Kingdom" his character has realized all the pain he had caused especially to the pony that trusts him more!

That was pretty sad but I knew he would snap back out of it somehow. Β In terms of Twilight getting her key I did not see it coming at all.

Β It's fully and totally clear that Discord has feelings for Fluttershy, and that makes me really happy. Those two were born to be together and bless the world with little baby-Discords.

My friend has also predicted that... XD I don't know if I'm ready for that, but there are more hints between Fluttershy and Discord than even Shining Armour and Cadence, so...

I absolutely LOVED it!!
I was actually kind of glad they tested Discord's friendship because I knew he needed some sort of conflict to make sure that he really had a friendship with the ponies. I liked the way they did it to--they gave him a choice of the ponies, or his own personal wants. Now THAT is a very hard conflict to overcome.
Of course, all the fluttercord moments made me really happy! I didn't feel too bad with the discord and celestia moment at the end, which was quite weird for me because I don't really like that ship XD
And was I the only one that liked the designs of the ponies after they opened the chest? I feel so alone with that, but okay lol.

I was relieved Discord wasn't killed for good by Tirek because many villains I see backstab their allies with a killing move!
