so much detail, and it looks so good, how do you make it so dark and keep all the lines? When I scan pencil drawings there's always so much detail missing

Seriously beautiful, I love the shading on his face, and the garment is gorgeous. I can't imagine doing this without smudging the thing to kingdom come (yes, even with the help of your great tutorial XDDD)

Oh, I did smudge it to kingdom come. I had to do a lot of going-over-again at the end. XD; I really like his facial style, too. I think it's one of my most succesful ways for drawing noses (*cheated by covering his other eye with hair*). It's the same method I used for drummer boy.
