my first CL comic ever aside from comic strips for the Tournament
I would say this is a side story, or a 'what if' story, if Aesther managed to go to Khadroma and then Yuu caught up with her later.
really, they have a beautiful bond it was not romantic, Aesther is an important person in Yulion's life, someone who is so special, more than best friends and contract partners. Actually their strong bond is....really hard to explain by words, Probably the best way to describe their relationship is a strong platonic love.
I never, never really illustrate the bond between these two and I realized that I missed something so endearing. I might probably draw them more in the future.
Khadromans feel more emotions than humans...and since contractors are bonded to each other, they can feel what their contract partner feels. Can you just imagine that Yulion, who is a human, feel an overwhelming pain and grief of Aesther's who is a Khadroman? he can just cry together with her, but he wants to stay strong for her.
