Description
One of the many reasons I love Silas is because of the patterning on his back. If you allow your imagination a little leeway, you can clearly see a dragon or possibly a phoenix in the designs down his back.The head of the animal would be in Silas' neck area, the wings are spread out across his shoulders and the body/tail of it taper off and run down Silas' back ending right about the base of his tail.
Silas was rescued from a local thrift & antique store

Get your facts right before you comment at least... 
First off, this isn't a wolf, it's a coyote. Today, there are more coyotes in America than there ever have been before. So much so, that they are a nuisance and a danger in many areas. Secondly, even if it was a wolf, wolves have been taken off the endangered species list. Thirdly, I clearly state in my description that I don't support the killing of animals for sport or fashion either. This guy was found old and falling apart in an antique store. If I hadn't bought him and lovingly pieced him back together, he would have fallen apart more and more and would have possibly just been thrown away by some uncaring person in the end. He is loved and respected in his current home and I have no plans on changing that.

Compared to the coyotes that used to roam around the woods at the back of my old home, his coloring is rather... different.
Aw, I miss those coyotes. We sometimes used to feed them some leftover raw meat. They even got along great with my dog!
