No you don't understand. All these conspiratards do it to get high.
the mind blown effect is caused by a chemical reaction in the brain that happens when it tried to question the reality it set up for itself. If in a very large quantity, you can legit get a high from believing in conspiracies, although it's not as intense as smoking weed. These  people think they're chasing the rabbit down the rabbit hole when in reality they're unconsciously doing it for the rush.
basically they're softcore drug addicts, the drug being the chemicals given off by the brain when they "discover the truth about X". In this case, it's Disney
