Description
This is what I'm looking at right now. I'm trying to look and these and weigh what i think looks best. I threw in the pink for the heck of it. I'm kind of partial to the Blue, Green, and Red.Page © Kristoffer Remmell 2007

Well you doesn't leave me much choice... I love redheads so my favorite will be obviously Red Version... although Blue looks pretty nice as well, while Violet looks more bit like a darker version of blue, than different color

I'm actually starting to like the blue.
I'm thinking red may not work story wise. She's a scientist in a world of magic. She tends to do all kinds of experiments. Sometimes they blow up. I imagine scenes of her running wild with her hair on fire. That would just clash with her hair.

Young geniuses aren't rare in anime and manga. Though, this one us SUPER evil genius.. Kind of similar to Evangeline from Negima, but she's not a genius. Smart though.

I'm liking the blue one as well. I think I'm going with that one. I've colored more of the sketches in the concept page and I'm liking her blue.

I love the pink hair, but your right it's a bit overdone. If it were up to me I would go with blue. I'm not much for green myself, and red sort of dominates the whole picture.

I think I actually favor the purple, they do all look good really, however, I would be inclined to do blue eyes with the red hair in spite of the Irish nature of the existing green eyes with red hair.

Pink I just thing has been done to death in manga/anime. Give her a bit too much of a Sakura feel.

well u can always change the shade of pink..right ? cause i think the others are too strong. sorry to say this, the other colors give this non professional feel, and Kriss ur a pro. u know what ? do u mind if i try out different shades and send u the ones i worked one ? wount use the illustration anywhere, just recolor it for u. what do u say ?

You can go ahead and try different colors if you'd like, but I wasn't planning on using those exact shades. This is just the basic idea. I'm still a little partial to the blue, but I was going to tone it down just a bit.
She's not suppose to look professional. It's the irony of looking like a kid, but being super smart.

hmmm...well i was thinking yesterday. i think the blue would work as well, only if u made it dark blue and shines a color of light blue ? try making the base dark and then a light shine of the same color. usually, for my colors i choose colors that appose eachother. for example, if i make blue a base, then the object on the blue would be yellow. or if its purple, then green would work with it.

I've been coloring her a bit more and I am starting to like blue. I saw something in an anime how some girls are coded by colors. Like Red means single, Blue means doesn't know about men, Green means unmarried, Orange means middle age, and so on.
Page is at that age where she has no romantic interest in guys.
I think if I make the shade of blue too dark it would take away from her personality.

I don't think colors are used for hair colors. It's more a meaning behind the colors in compared to girls.
