Description Download for 1280x960 resolution

This is an in-zoom in the left component in the old deviation Halloween Crack. Only the set M1 = M4 is drawn in this picture.

The parent fractal is a 2D-slice of the eight dimensional pentic parameter space using the standard setup of parameters z -> z^5 + 5/3[ab + ac + bc - (a + b + c)^2]z^3 - 5/2[abc - (ab + ac +bc)(a + b + c)]z^2 - 5abc(a + b + c)z + d, critical points z = a making the set M1, z = b making the set M2, z = c making the set M3, and z = -(a + b + c) making the set M4.

If you zoom out, you will see that the outer structure is a degree 3 Compass. Check my previous deviation CompassBorder. However here we’ve glided a little bit longer along the non plotted axis’

to add to my reply on that thread...
I also find I really enjoy doing manips with PSP, now that I have several really nice effects and filters, which I didn't have before... & I just realized layers are treated (merged) the same as in UF () - so UF taught me something very helpful!!!
while you're the king of fractals, I like trying to do abstracts/manips like ~Xantipa , the quees of abstracts/manips... I really like making those, usually based on fractals...
