Description
I wanted to try something a little different so I found an old pair of garden sheers made from a good quality steel and forged this sweeping style blade. I left the rough hammer pattern and color from the forge on the blade because I've always loved the look but never thought it looked right on one of my previous blades and just oiled it after sharpening. The handle is walnut, padauk and brass.

I wouldn't say elegant exactly. The handle and sweep of the blade kind of makes me think "elvish" styling, but the rough hammering and colors make me think "wild west"..... so maybe, a "spaghetti fantasy" blade? Other than odd what would you call that?

Just what I think it looks like in my eyes, but regardless it appears well forged and is considerably more attention grabbing than a straight blade.

Fractured100, the rough hammer pattern, and color set this blade into classic awesomeness. Very well done and thank you for sharing.
