Then it is up to their parents to make sure they are not seeing things that they are not ready for. Maybe the stamp should say "Internet: Ages 13 and younger must bring an adult."

I don't agree. I've seen 12 years old with more common sense than some 40 year old guys here. Some young people can actually handle themself on the internet and aren't naive or stupid, but actually pretty intelligent. Age doesn't say everything if you ask me.

I wish there was some sort of test for first-time Internet users to take to see if they are competent enough to even handle it. You can't skip it, it's mandatory.

The internet is not just 13+. Yes, a majority of things on the internet are, but obviously not everything; I hope that you're just implying that a majority of the internet is 13+. There are sites like:
-Animal Jam
-Club Penguin
-Webkinz
-Hub.com
-Petpet Park
-Moshi Monsters
I use all of those sites (exept Moshi Monsters, I quit that stupid game long ago.) I usually play Animal Jam daily, but pretty much only to check for anything new, or updates; but I stay on longer to talk with friends if they're on. I don't go on Webkinz much, I never miss out on a party on Club Penguin; and yes, I play Petpet Park, go ahead and make fun of me. I only go on the Hub website to watch new season 4 MLP eps, otherwise I'm playing the MLP games on there.
And there are even more young age appropriate sites, I can't really remember any that I used to play years ago.

The first time I was on the internet I was like 7 or 8. I mostly went to kid's websites like My Little Pony, Barbie, Polly Pocket, webkinz and all that crap. I was a total weeb. I don't wanna talk about it, oh god.
