The Ghost and her crew; Mandalorian weapons expert Sabine Wren, Twi'lek pilot Hera Syndulla, Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus, Lothal Jedi Padawan Ezra Bridger, Lasan Honor Guard Zeb Orrelios and their trusty Astromech C1-10P 'Chopper' from the awesome new animated series Star Wars: Rebels.

Even though they are a brand new addition to the Star Wars universe, I'm already really attached to the show and characters. Setting the series during the rise of the Galactic Empire and birth of the Rebel Alliance is a dream come true for any old school Star Wars fan, and the use of Ralph McQuarrie's original concept artwork and designs, along with Kevin Kiner's fantastic classic trilogy inspired score, and the iconic Imperial uniforms, vehicles and ships give the show the ultimate familiar classic Star Wars feel.
The Ghost itself has already established itself as an integral part of the show - a modified Corellian VCX-100 Light Freighter, owned and captained by Twi'lek pilot Hera Syndulla. The ship is protected by a main laser turret underneath the cockpit, a coaxial dorsal turret on the midsection, and rear guns mounted on The Phantom: a compact detachable Attack Shuttle. Already hugely-popular with fans, The Ghost's design was heavily influenced by the B-17 'Flying Fortress'.

A big thank you to all my friends who got me The Ghost (75053) and my brother who got me The Phantom (75048) for my birthday last year - I had to wait until 2015 for the Sabine minifigure to get released in order to get the full crew assembled for this photo.
