Yeah, it's a great set... you should keep looking as they still turn up on ebay fairly regularly

I've got the new release and it's awesome,
but this is the one I've always wanted.

Awesome = the new version is great, there's loads more detail in the printing. Yeah, the original version is cool too... it only ever came out with this version of Slave I

They're both pretty neat to have in your collection

franklando In reply to enojado [2016-06-29 13:17:58 +0000 UTC]

It only came out with 1 set and that was way back in 2002. They did an new updated version of the Jango Fett minifig in 2013 (set number 75015)

They need to start making clone helmets like that again. (Instead of the face being painted, actually have it indented like Jango's helmet and make a rotatable face that switches from black to actual face.)

Yeah, I wasn't sure about the new style helmets at first... but now I've got the new Stormtroopers, Sandtroopers and Snowtroopers I really love them!

franklando In reply to Killershrew123 [2015-04-06 22:42:34 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, they're awesome. I only have 1 of those from the 2013 Advent Calendar. I'm glad they kept the old style helmets... I'm still not sure that the printed visors on the Kashyyyk Clone Scout Troopers look as good.

Yes, they're the Brickarms Jango Fett blasters. They are probably the least detailed of all the Brickarms Star Wars weapons, but still pretty cool!

Awesome! Look after him... he's easily the rarest and most collectable of the official Lego production set minifigs!

I thought the rarest was Boba Fett from 10123. He's worth hundreds.

Yes indeedy... the Bespin Boba Fett is super-rare (I don't have one... I did get Lando from the set though)

Grand-Lobster-King In reply to franklando [2013-08-03 15:09:53 +0000 UTC]

Lando is almost worth as much as Jango. Sigh. Wish I had one.

I didn't realize Lando was worth so much... I got him as a present from one of my friends. I very rarely check out prices for the stuff I've already got, I try not to think about my toys in terms financial value. I'm sure they will rerelease Cloud City sooner or later = then Lando will be yours!

I used to have Grevious, EP3 Anakin, Count Dooku, etc. Pretty much all of the big guys except Jabba and Boba.  But they were sold because I was being an idiot.

I collect WWII stuff and LEGO, and I usually know the prices in my head. That way I know how much to pay for the figures and stuff when I see them at rummage sales or fairs. My dad didn't know, and I got $36 worth of "LEGO minifigures" you know the packaged ones. There was a pile of figures, and the best one I got was the original Qui Gon Jinn.

Awesome = I don't have it, but it's a cool set. I love the grumpy Anakin minifig and how R2-D2 actually sits in the wing this time. Hopefully they will do the maroon color variant sometime soon!

Grand-Lobster-King In reply to franklando [2013-08-20 22:15:31 +0000 UTC]

I'm not a huge fan of the R2D2 wing idea. I liked it when only his head popped on the wing. R2 kinda flips and flops around in there and it doesn't stick very well. However if you put a 2x4 flat piece in there it sticks to R2. I still have my set 7143, Obi-Wan's red starfighter. The R4 head just stays on there, it's fine. Ehh. I've never had a Jedi interceptor until now. I still love it!

I remembr gettin this as a kid. i was so excited. lol. still have the figurine.

Also, I have a question. The guns in the picture; whered you get them? Im working on a project and Ive been looking everywhere for that piece, and cant find it. what set is it from or is there a special name for it?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

franklando In reply to NRO2002 [2011-08-31 14:06:26 +0000 UTC]

The guns were part of a set of SW weapons made by a custom company called Brickarms = you could have a look at their website, or your best bet is probably on ebay (just search under: Lego Jango Fett Blaster) you should be able to get them pretty cheaply.

Jango's a rare minifig, isn't he? I'm lucky to have one.

Are Watto and Sebulba considered rare as well? Also Alder Beedo.

Yeah, apart from the limited edition promo minifigs (like the Gold-Plated C3-PO) I think Jango Fett is one of the rarest = so look after him dude! Have you seen a website called BrickWars? They have a cool guide to all the minifigures here's the [link]

The minifigs I want most are the ones that come with the Home One set. Mon Mothma, Crix Madine, and Admiral Ackbar. Also, Wedge Antillies is high on my list. Then maybe some of the ones in Jabba's Palace/Sail Barge.
Thanks for the link!

No problem! You could get Admiral Ackbar as part of a 3 minifig magnet set (with Leia and 3PO) - have a look at the Lego website under: products, star wars, accessories - it's a good way of getting minifigs you need without spending too much!

That's cool! I didn't want to buy the magnet ones because I thought they might have put the magnets in the minifigs themselves, but I guess that's not the case, so thanks!

I took a look at that brickwars website, and some of those minifigs are worth a darn lot of money!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

franklando In reply to Taggerung1 [2011-01-10 01:20:12 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, the magnets used to be fitted inside the legs, but now they come standing on a magnetic brick which you can just remove = I'm think I'm going to get a couple of Senate Commandos that way soon.
