Description Scale comparison of the original and new Gojira. Both are modeled on theropod dinosaurs with a helathy does of sauropod in the 2014 version. As usual, I used the exterior morphology to guide the osteology. Since points like shoulders, hips, knees, ankles, and wrists are pretty well defined on the moving Gojira, the serve as anchors to construct the skeletal system. Vertebrae, ribs, chevrons, gastralia, and pelvic morphology are entirely open to interpretation, so if you think they should look different, go right ahead and draw your own. That's the fun of this sort of doodling.Β I didn't include Zilla beacause it's not Gojira as made clear by Toho. Thanks for looking.

I know that's an old comment, but yes, it's 108.2 meters. The proportions are also a bit off here, as this accurate side view of a toy based on scans from the film shows: www.kaijuaddicts.com/wp-conten…

-Also, despite what the official facts state, the 2014 Godzilla is not 150 metres high. Comparing him to his surroundings gives you his actual height of around 500 feet tall.

According to a size chart in the latest edition of Empire magazine (Which had a feature on Godzilla), the original and right through the Showa series, Godzilla was about 50 to 60 meters tall. He started off at the same size in the Hensei series but from the movie Godzilla vs Hihidora onwards was further mutated to a size of about 100m. The 1998 'Godzilla' (Zilla) was about 60 to 70m tall. The first few millennium Godzilla's were back to about 50 to 60m tall, while in the last two millennium movies he was back to 100m. The new Legendary Godzilla is about 105m tall
