Description Three genera of skunks arranged in their phylogenetic position as Mephitidae. Once grouped with weasels in Mustelidae, they are now their own, distinct family. Even though they all look somewhat alike on the outside, what's inside is very different and interesting. Smart and dexterous little buggers, skunks are truly given a bad rap out there in the world of ignorant people. Thanks for looking!

I'm happy you like them! Costa Rica has southern spotted, hooded, and striped hog-nosed skunks. I'll draw some of those too!
