Personality:
Swirls wears her heart on her sleeve--and often shouts it to the world. She’s positively obsessed with smiles and will do just about anything to spread happiness. She can be a bit hyperactive and can come off as an airhead in some situations, but she does mean well.

Likes:
+ TEETH: healthy teeth, crooked teeth, missing teeth, overbite, underbite, it may be her job to "fix" teeth, but outside of work, she can't help but squeal at any mouth. She just wants to make sure that people’s teeth are things that people are proud to smile and show off. All teeth interest her immensely.

+ People: She simply enjoys company. It would take quite a bit for her to dislike anybody.

+ Cute Things: Mind you, teeth and bones are “adorable”, but outside that she also adores clothing, plushies, flowers, small animals, shiny things…etc.

+ Sour Foods: Much as she enjoys sweet things, she’s more drawn to sour candies when given the choice

+ Fishing: She’s used to having to wake up super early to transport into the city most days. So on her days off she starts the day by the river. This not only keeps her sleep schedule in check, but also helps her practice sitting still.

Dislikes:
- Cavities: Her nemesis. She will fill them into extinction.

- Tall Buildings: Why she doesn’t want to move to the city yet. Skyscrapers make her dizzy to look at, and any floor higher than a third floor makes her feel unsteady. Naturally the taller and higher, the worse the fear.

- Bugs and Insects: Things that bite but don’t have teeth are just gross! …and they tend to startle her.

- Cats: It’s not a dislike so much as it is an allergy. She can’t touch them without rashing up, so she has a hard time petting and loving them.

- Her Tail: It’s hard to see in this picture, but she has a small swirly piggy-like tail. Most other candies have long luxurious tails, and she feels that hers is embarrassingly short in comparison. And she’s not a piggy dangnabit!

History:
Both of Swirls' parents were photographers, so smiling was always a big part of her life. Unlike her older brother, she loved the attention and praise she got, which her parents were grateful for. Her life may have revolved in front of a camera, if not for an earthquake that occurred on set when she was eight. All the 'buildings', set pieces and props alike came crashing down around her. Luckily there were no casualties, just a mess. Less luckily, her mother had taken a hard fall, chipping a tooth in the process. All things considered, it was a minor incident, but from that day forward, began fearing tall buildings.

Her mother became sheepish about showing off her smile as well--or any expression with her teeth. Swirls couldn't understand why; smiling had always been so important to her, and she loved seeing har family happy. She noticed other kids around her shy to smile as much as she did - were they also ashamed of their mouths? That was something she could not stand for. She believed everyone deserved the chance to smile and be proud of there's. The best way she could think to help this was to study dentistry.

Sadly, her batophobia never faded, so even fully licensed, living in a city is not an option for her. She would still rather wake up early and spend her mornings transporting to Domoko City than live in a tall apartment building. Sour Valley is much more preferred for its flatness.

Additional Information:
~Swirls has lived on the island for a few years now, she's looking forward to reconnecting with old friends, and making new ones as well!
~ While some adults may find her hyper interest in teeth immature for a dentist, she's pretty good with kids.
~ She has a brother whom she may convince to move to the island someday.
~ If she’s scared she may cling to whoever’s around, possibly not fully conscious she’s doing it. This is most likely to happen in Domoko City.
~ Top Secret: In her childhood she had 3 cavities.
~ As she is taffy, she always smells faintly like orange flavoring. She’s also pretty flexible, but she can’t bend in the wrong way or anything.
