Description
Just a quick experiment with a render I got out of apophysis. Needs more manipulating still, but it seemed to have a cool effect in spacepics when applied as light on the pic. Will work further the render, it might have some cool potential for wallpapers and such.Stocks used:

Yeah, same here. Stumbled accidentally on yet another technique earlier today, it seemed to have rather jawdropping effects on spacescenes. Need further experimenting, hopefully get something out with it before hitting the road for the holidays.

Are those planets yours?
Anyway, it's a great piece, I love the sudden violence of it. Keep it up

Why sell them even if you could? Then you could cook up some good images and play some cool tunes in the process.
Nice to see you liked.

you rock doing this things. The only detail I see is the composition, I don't know it is too centered and maybe obvious, but in the other hand I looks balanced.
I like a lot the lights and shadows here.

Thank you. Yeah, the composition is a little dull, but wanted to try it anyway.

Absolutely stunning, I love that texture in the background that sort of gives everything life. You did an amazing job on this!

awesome pic funerium, been meaning to thank you for the advice you gave me on using apop renders in space art pics, just started experimenting with them myself. Really like the colours in this pic, dont think the planet needs to be redder, as the colours compliment each other well as it is...
on this one

Great job, although the light around the planet is a totally different colour, so wouldn't the planet be yellowy reddish? But then again, it could be something sci-fi
I should try using Apophysis for space scenes someday...

Haha, yeah, I totally spaced out on that, I was going to change it, but seemed to have forgotten about it. Damn Iยดm blind. But still, just a quickie, will pay a lot more attention if/when Iยดm trying out a bigger piece with this theme.
